7 reflection prompts for the heart-centered business owner.

Hi there. I see you.

In the rush of day-to-day demands, it’s easy to get swept up in doing and forget to pause and reflect. But reflection is where real alignment begins. As heart-led business owners, taking a moment to ask ourselves the right questions can help us reset, realign, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

These prompts are designed to help you zoom out, reconnect with your deeper why, and tune into what your business really needs right now.

Take a breath, grab a pen, and carve out ten minutes to check in with yourself.

1. What do I actually need more of in my business: structure or space?

Sometimes we crave systems and routines to feel safe and steady, but other times, what we really need is permission to breathe, dream, and move more intuitively. Knowing the difference can change everything about how you show up and what you prioritise.

2. Where am I leaking time, energy, or money?

Bring awareness to the parts of your business that feel sticky, heavy, or wasteful. It might be a tool you no longer use, a boundary you haven’t reinforced, or a project that no longer aligns. Identifying your energy leaks is the first step in reclaiming your capacity.

3. What would feel good to let go of?

Not everything that’s working is worth keeping. It could be an offer that drains you, a piece of content that no longer represents who you are, or a belief about success that no longer fits. Letting go is a powerful act of alignment—and it creates the spaciousness required for new growth.

4. What feels effortless and joyful right now?

Follow the sparks. These moments of lightness are usually signs that you’re in flow, doing the work you’re truly meant to do. Leaning into what feels good can help you build a business that’s sustainable and soul-nourishing, not just successful on paper.

5. Am I creating, connecting, or consuming more often?

Notice where your energy is going. Too much consumption can lead to comparison, overwhelm, or paralysis, while creating and connecting open up channels of expression, opportunity, and magnetism. Where might you gently shift the balance this week?

6. If my ideal client landed on my site today, what would they think?

Put yourself in their shoes: would they feel seen, understood, and invited in? Or would they be confused, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next? Your website and online presence are extensions of your energy, and it’s worth making sure they still align with who you are and how you want to serve.

7. How do I want my business to feel in 6 months?

Visioning from a place of feeling rather than outcomes helps you make aligned choices in the present. Ask yourself: do I want more ease, connection, freedom, confidence, or creativity? Let that feeling be your North Star as you shape the next season of your business.

There’s no one “right” way to build a business
